City’s Mobile Office heading to Somerset West next week

20 March 2026

The City of Cape Town’s Mobile Office is heading to Somerset West next week to bring essential municipal services directly to residents' doorsteps. The mobile office will be at the Somerset West Town Hall on Tuesday, 24 March 2026. Residents are encouraged to skip the commute and visit the Mobile Office to resolve account queries and access City services.

The details are as follows:

  • Tuesday, 24 March 2026 from 10:00 to 14:00 at the Somerset West Town Hall, 11 Main Road, Somerset West

The City’s Customer Relations Department’s mobile team will assist residents with logging queries and service requests electronically.

‘These mobile office visits bring essential municipal support to residents' doorsteps. This is a great opportunity for residents to resolve their non-emergency enquiries; including rates, water, electricity and refuse accounts in the comfort of their own neighbourhoods. To all the residents in Somerset West and surrounding areas, consider this your invitation. To ensure a seamless experience, we encourage residents to bring along their IDs or municipal accounts to ensure our teams can assist them with ease,’ said the City’s Mayoral Committee Member for Corporate Services, Alderman Theresa Uys.
